The Swedish government has set a target to electrify 2000 km of roads by 2030 and a further 1000 km by 2035.
This would half CO2 emissions from from heavy goods vehicles.
Sweden has over 400 000 km of roads in total.

Yes, that's good too. We'll see after all the test roads are evaluated which solution is the best. Perhaps a combination is the way to go.

I believe that one is exactly the same as the "Elväg Gävle" road. It looks like it's a partnership between Siemens and Scania.
Apparently Germany, France and Sweden cooperates on this.
