🛣️ Frankfurt A5

👀 14000 trucks daily

🔌 12 of them are Scania R 450 hybrid trucks with pantographs 🚋

⬅️ 12 km electrical road this way

➡️ 5 km electrical road that way

Is anyone aware of results of the German electric truck experiment? A7 east of Hamburg (or thereabout) has had overhead powerlines for years now - I passed there once a year, never saw an electric truck, though.

Ah, it is even mentioned in the article - I was wrong about it being the A7: "In late 2019, an additional segment of electrified road was opened near Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein (A1) where one Scania truck is currently being tested."
