The Ukrainian song gave me odd associations to the Sámi people.

When you don't understand Ukrainian it sounds a bit like jojk singing.

The whole act look Sámi:
* snow covered shrubs/branches
* shrubs look like reindeer antlers
* men holding shamanic drum
* men stomping to drum beat and dancing kind of shamanic style ecstatic dance.
* fur clothing - green like the aurora borealis
* midnight sun
* blue lights - like ice

Some random Same music:

Did anyone watch the Eurovision song contest last week?
I skimmed through the songs afterwards.
Here are final result and videos:

"Each ship will transport around 12-20 thousand tons of CO2 in liquid form." :flan_cool:

"Dan-Unity CO2 have entered into an agreement for the transfer of CO2 to the Coda Terminal."

"Storage capacity is expected to reach 3 million tonnes of CO2 per year by 2030."

Here's live video from the volcano.

Interesting, but boring, and fascinating.

It has Icelandic radio. :flan_headphones:

Here is a picture which shows the ongoing construction of the two anti-lava walls.

The same Canada goose I posted for Easter got a whole bunch of kids now. They are so perfectly camouflaged with green yellow grey color that looks like the grass and ground.

"Europe Day ... celebrates peace and unity in Europe. The date marks the anniversary of the historic 'Schuman declaration'.

At a speech in Paris in 1950, Robert Schuman, the then French foreign minister, set out his idea for a new form of political cooperation in Europe,

which would make war between Europe's nations unthinkable.

... Schuman's proposal is considered to be the beginning of what is now the European Union."

Oops, 9 May passed and I forgot Europe day. 🇪🇺

The Scottish Nationalist Party together with the greens got a majority and both are pro Scottish independence.

I'm not pro or against it, it's none of my business. I'm not Scottish.

In the coming years there may be another referendum on independence.

It's not guaranteed to happen because Scotland is obviously not independent at the moment. UK supreme court may say no, or the computer say no, or the queen says no, or God say no.

Anything can happen.

There's an election going on in Scotland. Normally uninteresting, but this time it's just after Brexit.

Surprisingly it wasn't so hard and I'm in love with how it looks

It boggles my mind how German supermarket chains with several hundred thousand employees simply ignore their website.

The problem - not updating their opening times to reflect corona changes.

I mean, come on, it's been so many months and they can't even bother updating their opening times.

I called and double checked because months ago I was met with a closed door after reading opening times on their website.

Here are speeches in the EU parliament, from before the vote on the UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.

Von der Leyen held a good speech. There are many other interesting speakers too.

You can click names and go directly to short 1-10 min speeches. Pretty cool that you can switch languages in the video.

Found another potential Lithium mine in Czech Republic.

I do believe responsible mining is possible. With regulations they can have mining with minimal environmental impact.

Good things happening this week:
🇪🇺 The EU parliament passed a law to reduce GHG emissions with 55-57 % by 2030 compared with 1990 level.

🇺🇲 USA made a verbal statement to cut emission with 50-52 % by 2030 compared with 2005 level.
