@JohanEmpa - Oh yes. Extremely common all over the farming areas of the UK. And, this one in the title still exists. Built from stone with a turf top, sometime in the early 1800's.
@analoguelife is the sheepfold something that still exist? It was a new word to me so I searched it and saw old stone enclosures.
