Another fun sign clutter spot courtesy of the state DOT. The big bike sign is supposed to tell drivers there’s a bike crossing, but it’s confusing to people riding bikes who think it means they should take this left onto a very congested, narrow street with no shoulder. We want folks on bikes to turn right to head into town along a quiet street that cuts through the cemetery.

@bikescape My favorite MA DOT sign nonsense was the spot where they had a signpost noting you were on a northbound *and* a southbound road. At the same time. (I think it was I95N and 128S, but alas google is not finding it)

@wordshaper haha. Yeah. State highways here on Cape Cod are signed east/west but the geography doesn’t match so you take Route 6 East to Provincetown’s West End and Route 6 West to the East End. :/
