@christineburns I'm not sure. Any fool can achieve an end to war by surrendering, but that doesn't necessarily bring actual peace.

@christineburns If peace is all that matters to Putin and Trump, surely they have no problem with returning the borders to where they were in 1994 when the US and Russia both signed the Budapest Memorandum. I suspect that if that happens, Ukraine will not fire a single weapon and peace will be achieved. If Russia will not agree, then I think it's obvious that something other than peace is what is being sought.
