150+ moths came to visit on a mild, cloudy, drizzly night (perfect conditions). And the theme was THORNY! Three types of Thorn here:

1) & 2) Canary-shouldered Thorn (can you guess why)?
3) Dusky Thorn
4) Early Thorn

Overhead of Dusky Thorn moth. Triangular moth, similar to canary-shouldered but duller. Scallop shaped end of wings. Dusky yellow with mauve-greyish shading towards the rear of the wing
Side on of Early Thorn. Wings held very vertical. Grey-brown underwing, quite plain looking, scalloped at the wing edge. Quite large feathered antennae.
