@Runyan50 @noelreports There is Nammo factory in Sastamala (Finland) too, which produces shell casings. (Explosive stuff is added in army factory)
It pops up in news every now and then. According to this one from early february, for example, they have increased production fivefold.
If they get "positive message" (= orders & money) from EU and gov, they can increase it several times more by building an entire new factory.

Rheinmetall also started building a new ammunition factory for 155mm shells yesterday. It will take 12 months and then they can start with 50k shells/y which will increase to 100k in year two and 200k later on.
Ramping up the production now is a "good sign" (would be better to be able to spend it on education everywhere tbh), BUT it's way too late. Should have started it by end 2022 at the latest.
