37/52 A bit late today for of my series (out all day)! Today it's , looking into fire management practices. It's pretty well known by now that one factor contributing to the severity of wildlfires in recent years (as well as climate change) is the interruption of native american practices of setting controlled fires, preventing larger fires. There is quite a lot of work on this - here a short overview from the National Park Service
