I have been following this story closely as a friend’s daughter is at the in . Of course I feel sorry for her and all the children affected, and this no comment on any individual invovled, but: the whole thing is just mad and what a story of our times.

I heard that story, although not closely following it. The father of the scout was rather understanding after all his daughter went through. She suffered a sprained ankle and didn't get care for several days. Then heat exhaustion (as did many others) and was removed to a cooler locale. Now now all the scouts are evacuated because of a forecast typhoon. Wow!
