@tmmj If I do it in a microwave I use a 3l pyrex bowl, no exploding over the interior with that unless you're making a lot!
@Tanngrisnir @tmmj #Porridge I measure the oats and water and leave to soak overnight. In the morning the amount of water that's been absorbed seems to be quite variable. It then gets an approximate amount of milk, 90 secs in the microwave, followed by a further four lots of 30 secs, and extra milk as needed. Sometimes it tries to explode, mostly it doesn't. It's always yummy!
@richardcrawshaw @tmmj I truly recommend the 3l pyrex bowl. I make a biggish portion and tend to cook it for sightly longer because it like it that way, and it never explodes. Absolute peace of mind.
