An image of some snow-caked silver birches from a local nature reserve last week.
It’s that time of year where some find it difficult. Perhaps it brings back memories of a lost loved-one, a relationship that didn’t work out, money or even a situation that’s affecting you at work. It’s okay to not be okay.
I hope you have a great start to the week, but if you’re not, there’s always someone willing to listen.
@justinfarrimond thank you Justin!
@timsmalley Ethereal! Thank you.
@JaneinNJ much appreciated Jane!
@timsmalley That is a really fantastic image. Definitely makes me miss my old stomping grounds in Hertfordshire. Haven't been there in winter for over two decades.
@richardjfoster thanks Richard - wow, that's a long time to be out of county. Are you still based in the UK?
@timsmalley No, I've been based in America (specifically Florida) for the past 26 years.
I also realized it hasn't quite been as long as I thought as we did visit friends in Berkhampstead back in late 2017. For some reason I had it in my head that they were just into Bedfordshire... which of course is not the case.
@richardjfoster got you! I love it up on the Ashridge Estate, just up on the hill above Berkamstead :)
@timsmalley gorgeous pics.
@zooophagous thank you :)
@timsmalley Gorgeous winter landscape.
@ConanTheActuarian much appreciated
@timsmalley Loving these winter tree photos!
@qelricdk thanks Sam!
@timsmalley
That is a gorgeous photograph. #goodSentimentToo
@Cateo thanks Cate
@timsmalley an absolutely stunning photo (and birch trees are my husband's favorite tree). Thank you for the special gift of your photography and I wish you a peace-filled solstice/holiday season.
@handyrandy4guy thank you for your kind words, and sorry for my late response. :)
