Tut mir leid, das ist als Argument nicht stimmig. Denn verhindern kann ich die #A100 genauso wenig oder viel wie die #Autobahn durch den Regenwald. Ich kann gegen die #A100 protestieren und vielleicht ist das erfolgreich.
Nick Reimer hätte an den Verkehrsminister oder die deutsche Regierung schreiben können, falls die Brasilien kritisiert, denn die könnten auf den Ausbau von Autobahnen hierzulande verzichten.
Auch der Vergleich mit dem Fällen von Bäumen für einen #Fahrradweg ist nicht stichhaltig. Es gibt in Brasilien sicher große Konferenzzentren, die man hätte nutzen können. Man muss also nichts neu bauen und schon gar nicht im Regenwald. Die Schule kann man nicht verlegen. Um die Bäume ist es schade, aber wenn die Kinder dann sicher zur Schule fahren können und man die Bäume neu pflanzt, dann kann das eine sinnvolle Reglung sein. Müsste man sich vor Ort angucken. Es ist jedenfalls in Größenordnungen anders als eine Autobahn durch den Regenwald. Autobahnen sind mit für das Artensterben verantwortlich, weil sie Lebensräume zerschneiden und so paarungsfähige Tiere voneinander trennen. Wenn eine Art eh schon bedroht ist, kann das das Aus bedeuten.
Das Argument ist letztendlich von derselben Qualität, wie das von Klaudia Lagozinski zum Kauf eines Teslas: So lange Du noch XY (irgendeine Kleinigkeit), darf ich mir einen Tesla kaufen.
Also: Es ist richtig und wichtig, wenn Menschen gegen diese Autobahn protestieren.
