→ Some of the barriers are just in our heads. I thought I would never be able to do ANYTHING while #breastfeeding. I was wrong. The way how we think about our challenges determines how we tackle them.

→ You and only you can define the right balance. What feels right today may be completely out of balance tomorrow. You can always adjust.

Please be aware the work itself is low-paid, thankless, not often enough to live on, in shitty conditions, and very often exploited by awful employers.

HOWEVER, there is a strong-ish third sector and union presence, and rising. Most normal (non-billionaire, non-millionaire) people *are* starting to notice that life sucks and is too expensive to scrape by.
The food quality, while overpriced, is generally healthier and safer than the USA. For now.

2) #Wokeness ist keine absurde Weltsicht, sondern ein klares Set an Forderungen für marginalisierte Gruppen, die sich aus den Menschen- und Bürgerrechten ergeben. Wer sich hier den Schuh der Rechten anzieht, man wolle sich vom "gesunden Menschenverstand" verabschieden, der verrät einen zentralen Aspekt linksliberaler Politik.

Man darf die Thematik nur nicht als "sichere Bank" gegen ein rechtes Horrorszenario verstehen, mit dem man Stimmen so sicher hat, dass man soziale Identität eintauscht gegen soziale Gerechtigkeit. Die Frage der Arbeiterschaft und der gerechten Verteilung von Vermögen, die Frage nach sozialen Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten und monetärer Anerkennung von gesamtgesellschaftlichen Leistungen (z.B. #Carework) muss mehr denn je thematisiert werden - und eben nicht gegen Fragen von #Diversität und #Intersektionalität ausgespielt werden.
