@Hypx I’m all for decarbonization. do not emit any carbon when driving. But they don’t reduce the emissions of your SUV, or from airplanes. That’s not what they’re designed to do.
maybe become a future alternative. Right now, they’re too expensive and fuel is hard to get. And they also don’t reduce emissions.
It’s better to use the bike, metro or train, but if you can’t, are currently next best

@Hypx @mackaj Once again, we need in a carbon-free energy system. My solar panels don’t get me far in winter time.
But that doesn’t mean are a sensible technology. You can produce electrons from hydrogen much more efficiently at scale. And you can stop hydrogen much more efficiently at scale. Not in a vehicle.

@Hypx And and get significantly more. Europe has hydrogen IPCEIs, the US has Incentives for Clean Hydrogen Production in its Inflation Reduction Act. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Nevertheless, demand for massively exceeds demand for . So, what’s the real ‘fad’ here?

are a better and more efficient alternative in freight transport, long-distance transport, and on railroads for non-electrified lines and sidings. are better and more efficient for passenger cars, bikes, local buses, local ferries and small trucks

Ses HydrogenAnother 2 hydrogen myths we debunk - Ses HydrogenToday we're taking on hydrogen for the second time, and this time we're focusing on hydrogen transportation, specifically fuel cell vehicles.
