Background: Puppet Inc. betrayed the #FOSS community and changed their license. This resulted in a #fork called #OpenVoxProject, but existing puppet releases still worked, so many #DevOps did not care enough to switch.

Yesterday the release key for the free puppet packages expired. It is unlikely that Puppet Inc. will renew those keys.

It's time to move on. https://voxpupuli.org/openvox/ works as a drop-in replacement. #FOSS saved the day again!

To my surprise, @variable not only solved my problem in no time, but cooked a feature that's way, way better than what I was asking for.
