🧑‍⚖️ Sony sues Tencent for allegedly ripping off 'Horizon' video games | Reuters

「 Sony said in its complaint that it declined an offer from Tencent to collaborate on a new "Horizon" game last year. Tencent later announced "Light of Motiram," which Sony said features identical gameplay, story themes and artistic elements to "Horizon" as well as many other similarities 」

Earlier today I did a little stream attempting to code some pushable pots and it wasn't quite wanting to work. It ended short due to dizzy, and I didn't manage to do anything (and deleted the going-live post >//<).

Well, I did make it work with help from the Godot community, but it required a workaround, because the physics state needs to recognize that an object has been moved within a single frame, I guess? It's a little ugly, so I wrapped it into an extension method.

The Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable (PSP) weren’t just competing for sales—they were battling for the very soul of handheld gaming.

But who really won? Was it the DS, which obliterated sales records and redefined portable gaming? Or the PSP, which built a devoted fanbase and became a hacker’s paradise? Let’s settle this once and for all.

I worked on the codebase and the pirate ship again, and I am happy to report that my game #Lazarr! is finally feature-complete. (And hopefully bug-free, too. 😅)

All the *technical* features I planned for v2.0.0 are now finished.

Now the only thing missing are the final levels, and then preparing for the big release day. Wish me luck! But it will still take a while because the levels are very important.

Peering through the noise is a key game mechanic. This might look completely impossible to parse, but it's easier than you might think while still remaining challenging.

I love that the UI gets caught up in the feedback.
