OK, ya old #radio ppl. Got this old #80s #Sony #Jambox @ a #GarageSale for ONE dollar & it WORKS.
I put 6 x size D batteries in it. Where do I get a power cord for it & restore the slider things. They're stiff & I'm afraid to force them.

The image shows a vintage Sony CFS-1200 radio cassette recorder. The device is predominantly black with gold lettering and features a prominent radio tuner with frequency indicators ranging from 53 to 170 MHz, including AM and FM bands. Below the tuner, there is a graphic equalizer with sliders for adjusting sound frequencies, labeled "BAND GRAPHIC EQUALIZER." A large volume knob is situated to the right of the equalizer, with a smaller knob for balance control. The cassette deck is visible in the center, with play, record, and fast-forward buttons at the bottom. The device has two speakers on either side, and the model number "CFS-1200" is displayed on the cassette deck. The background features a patterned fabric surface.

The image shows the back panel of a Sony radio cassette-corder model CFS-1200, made in Korea. The panel is black with various components and labels. On the left, there is a caution label with a warning about the risk of electric shock and a symbol indicating not to open the device. Did some exploration of the radio waves today been a while since I picked up my rtl-sdr since at/near home there's too much RF noise and rain+time does not allow me to go out in the open. Anyways here's a short clip with plenty of stations wirh a few languages and Morse? (still have to identify the stations since frequencies appear to be offset and I don't know most of the languages).
