Is there anyone in #NovaScotia looking for a #dog?
There's no paperwork, but there's a female #Labradoodle to be rehomed. She's just a year old. Probably minor costs to adopt, it is located at the rural end of Halifax, about 90 minutes from the city.

Just curious if there is any interest?

This is Jukka, my small happy well adjusted curious cat, sitting in his favorite place by the open living room window

He's so smart, if he's doing something I don't like, I can go "eh-eh" and he will look at me and if I wiggle my finger "no" he will stop whatever he's doing and come right to me.

He always verbally answers his name. He can tell if I am talking about him vs to him. I think I will miss him most of all

This is Mama cat, my formerly but still a little bit feral who adores head kisses and scritches and dances around the house playing with every toy each day, despite her wobbly back legs

During the night, she comes up behind me in bed and rests her little head in the crook of my neck and purrs in my ear. If I wake up, I give her a little loving. If I don't, she politely goes away.

I have to get home by Nov 15 to Colorado to care for my sister/friend who has had a bad #stroke and lives in a very remote place

I live in eastern #WestVirginia and have no one to take care of them, no plans on coming back here and no way to bring them with me

I adore my #cats and just want good #homes for them

I will #drive them almost anywhere to give them a chance at a good #life

So I am going to put it out here: if anyone within 3 hrs of Cumberland Maryland would consider taking one or more of my babies, I'll drive them to you, with supplies

I want loving forever indoors homes. I would consider foster homes that won't dump them in a cage at the pound or abandon them outside ever

If I can't find safe places for them I will have to have them euthanized and that will kill me

Please boost and ask your friends. Ask any cat rescues you know. Please help

This is a colony of a dozen or so cats at an industrial location, and they are cut off from any access to residential neighborhoods (where food and feeders would be). The cats here are actually already fixed. But they face hellish conditions — constant garbage, high-speed traffic, industrial waste. They are always covered in automotive grease and mud.

We took turns hanging out with him yesterday, with me he strolled down to the woodcutting area, smelled some squirrel dens, and laid around looking beautiful.

1/ Rough day- we found a new home for the kitty that adopted us, and they picked him up this evening. A relief because outdoors here is very unsafe for cats- scary for him at night especially, and very stressful for us worrying about him, trying to be out there a lot, etc.
Nonetheless, very emotional day for us- I have photos to post (of the more than 60 I took today, lol) but not up to editing them now-- #cats #rehoming #AnimalCompanions #HeartBroken

In East Sussex, Kiko's Cat Cafe has opened in Fishmarket Road. The cafe allows people to come and get some food and a drink and, most importantly, be surrounded by lovely cats. And if you really hit it off with one, all the cats are in need of rehoming and you can put in a form to start the adoption process!
