Probably spend too much time doing it but I report so much shit that shouldn't be on #tumblr, I'm #anticensorship to the bone but the underage exploitation material needs to be policed better by the admins or start paying me money and give me some admin privs to clean it up and the other problem is the self-replicating BOTS posting this filth and code not keeping upto booting the BOTS and original #user responsible.

both in #socialnetwork and linux main in the middle literally comes out of ignorance or malicious intent
our ISP couldn’t possibly have the equipment to man in the middle your encrypted traffic even if they did see it. You’re also too much effort, the other 99% of their users are just using their servers and plain DNS no way they care that much to peek at your traffic even if they somehow could. I just woke up so I’m giving you a 30k foot answer but I’ll return with something more technical. I’m a cyber security engineer and you should be one too if not.

dip 045, “social”?

l’algoritmo di #Threads (forse il peggior social in cui mi sia imbattuto) sembra perfino più demenziale di quello di #facebook o di #twitter: deve in qualche modo creare una specie di mare magnum in cui tutti perdono tutti.
per non parlare del sistema del “repost”, che funziona con #wordpress e che mi permette di ripostare (appunto) in automatico i materiali che escono su slowforward.net. sono tutti praticamente INVISIBILI. Threads (come facebook e soprattutto twitter) lavora solo per sé stesso, questo è quanto.
la logica, nei social media generalisti, è evidente: la creazione di livelli di #separazione tra piattaforma e piattaforma, e (all’interno di queste) tra utente e utente. l’esatto opposto di quello che succede nel #fediverso.

Ultimamente sto guardando dei documentari e mi sono imbattuto casualmente in questo “The antisocial network - La macchina della disinformazione”.
Personalmente trovo che sia al quanto agghiacciante il come siamo diventati dipendenti da queste applicazioni e il come facilmente ci facciamo influenzare anche inconsciamente.
