In the past week I've been welcoming the new master degree (postgraduate) students to "social and cognitive", "behavioural and neuroscience" and "work and organizational psychology". I've also been welcoming back the second year master's students for their master's thesis work. It's great to see all the motivated young people and I'm excited to see what they will bring to the program!

As of today I'm on #strike from my job as a professor at #UiB. A first time experience for me, and I'm curious what it will be like. Some tasks (like grading exams) I'll be happy to postpone, while other tasks may be more difficult to stay away from (supervising students and PhDs, working on manuscripts, preparing for conference, keeping up to date with the field...)

Det kan hende de har jussen på sin side, men at en kunstner som har blitt bedt om å utsmykke universitetets eindom blir behandlet så dårlig viser dårlig etisk dømmekraft. Det er klart at man må i en dialog med en kunstner dersom man vurderer å fjerne et verk som dette.
