This morning I am meeting with our Natural England guy to see if we can establish why one of the ditches that runs through the wood is now dry all winter. Wish us luck. I'm going armed with a spade, secateurs and dowsing rods. #woodland

I've been to the wood to get out the last 21 posts of the 100 I took an order for. They've been stacked since early March, but it's been too muddy to get them out. The patient person waiting for them, got some wild garlic as a peace offering. #woodland
