There are 14,387,941 jackrabbit poops in this front yard. [1]

Have I said that we get a lot of jackrabbits [2] in the yard in the winter here? Prairie life.

[1] Approximately.
[2] White-tailed jackrabbit, which is actually a hare, not a rabbit at all. AKA prairie hare.

A photograph of a front yard in late winter / early spring in Saskatchewan, in the middle of the Canadian prairies. The yard is covered deeply with snow, but it is melting. The entire yard is covered with small black objects, which are actually jackrabbit (hare) poop. Like, many, many thousands of them.

More work in the yard this morning and afternoon. Mainly had to move the chicken coop!

A few years back, with a different coop the very first time we got chickens, we did a farmer pose with a pitchfork and a shovel and stuff. No tools this time. 😂

Also emptied the water that accumulated *under* the pool liner.

Next task will be to spread the big dirt pile over the whole back section from the foot of the stairs to the fence. Many shovel fulls are in my future!

Of a four picture from the WebCam this morning, shows chicken coop in its normal place and the long aluminum canoe in the back. There is some water accumulated in the pond. Otherwise, the yard is quiet. The sky has blue sky with some cloud clouds in the distance.
After moving the small red coop that is up on posts to the back, we did a semi farmer pose.
Where the Coupe and run was now needed to be cleaned up so that the dirt can be spread. There is some grass with an area of cement blocks of various shapes, arranged that were inside of the chicken run.
And after picture shows that the pond liner has been pulled back across half of the pond, exposing the fabric cloth underneath. The area where the chicken coop was is now clear aside from a large clump of grass. There is a small wagon, waiting to be used to transport dirt.

1. Finished my spring brush cleanup in the #backyard before the start of tick season.

2. After several days of moving brush and fallen branches to a central location for chipping, my muscles are sore but thanks to Arnika & Advil, I feel better than expected. I guess exercising regularly over the winter helped.

3. Called my accountant with a few tax questions and got right through to him on my first try. No callback or telephone tag necessary.

View from my driveway tonight. With these auroral bands, you have a maximum level of energy that is stored in the earths magnetic field. When these maximum levels are reached, it creates a breakup, or otherwise known as a corona. Where the magnetic bands swirl and break apart, releasing the concentrated energy into a more broad, mist like auroral haze.
But for those few minutes of eye watering wonder, it’s quite a good time.
