Cute little moment today. I love all my bees and happy that I chose the right flowers last year AND managed to get most of them through winter so they're now blooming already and feeding the wild bees nesting on my balcony.

I sensommeren 2019 fik min Annette og jeg tilplantet vores altan af #Altanalferne, så under den første coronabølge oplevede vi foråret på altanen for første gang. Det var en decideret lifesaver midt i al den ulykke og usikkerhed, der væltede ud over verden.
Siden har vores altan udviklet sig til en over the top biotop til gavn for fuglene og insekterne, og i år føles alt det spirende og grønne meget på samme måde som under corona: Som et roligt, sikkert sted, man har lyst til at søge hen.
Sidste år fik vi en høj blodblomme, og den er netop sprunget ud med de yndigste, lyserøde blomster. Og så har vores musvitpar, Musse og Poul, haft travlt med at bygge rede i kassen den sidste måneds tid. Poul synger fra morgenstunden sammen med vores solsort, Henning. De er fuldkommen ligeglade med Donalds Trumps toldhurlumhej, og jeg prøver at lade mig inspirere af dem

Ich musste heute kräftig giessen, besonders die #Moose hatten argen Durst. Bin gespannt, was dieses Jahr so an Gestrüpp aus den Pötten klettert.
Über den Winter mussten sich die Gewächse ja um sich selber kümmern. Ab und zu hab ich ihnen etwas Wasser spendiert und das wars.
Im Winter muss das Gestrüpp auf dem Balkon darben. Bin halt faul.
Das geschenkte Zimmeralpenveilchen hat den zugegeben milden Winter draussen auf Balkonien übrigens permanent blühend überlebt.

This Swiss chard on my balcony planter is more than 2 years old.

I have harvested #leaves from it at least 9 times and it's time to cut more leaves again to make #vegetable #soup.

It is absolutely delicious & the highest ROI of my #balcony #garden. #SwissChard

Good news about our #pluginpv project in #Ukraine: “Yesterday we completed the installation of the panel: my husband fixed all the elements and ran the cables to the balcony.”

Our project partners from #EcoClubRivne are checking out how to install #solar on the #balcony. How to set ups such a system with a small battery, because there are lots of #blackouts in Ukraine, due to the destruction of the #powergrid by Russia.

Of course we also try to explore what landlords and gridoperators think and if they try to block small #pv.

Sold my 17 years old #cactus that I bought from IKEA for 1 euro and it grew into a 93cm tall "tree" and a pain to have on the #balcony.

Had to pack it well so the guy who's buying it doesn't get hurt

the old cactus with a measuring tape to show how tall it is.

packed the cactus with plastic, pallet wood and shopping bags to protect the buyer from getting hurt.

Cleaning up the balcony and giving away some of my organic soil.

Started them 3 years ago and keep adding compost to grow tomatoes and peppers in them. Tomatoes used to grow over 2m tall and 4m wide. And jalapeno pepper was over 1.5m tall.

One has a jalapeno pepper cutting that has already rooted and be ready for the summer.

Hurts to get rid of, but I can't move them and need to clean up the balcony to sell the apartment.

I have interest in what I'm hearing amongst the #german populations who are putting up solar on their balconies?

I live in a condo and have some solar on the inside of my glass sliding door, but I'm wondering how that would work regarding energy transmission from the panels hanging on the balcony?
