Anyone got/know of a good #video that introduces #Windows users to #LinuxMint?

I'm going to install and setup Mint for someone, so I don't need the video to explain how to install #Linux, etc. I just need a video that explains how to navigate and use the #OS, what's similar/different than Windows, etc.

As beginner-friendly as possible please.

OK, I thought about it and I think I would embrace using #Docker or a similar container system if it would be integrated in the OS very well. If I could drag and drop an app into a container, adjust "permissions" of containers in a simple #GUI list, etc.

Yes, I know of the advantages of CLIs but it's easier to get used to a new concept with visual clicky UIs. And since I don't have a real need for docker, nothing is pushing me over the hurdle to start getting used to the necessary commands.

I guess this sort of #OS integration only comes in the form of restricting single app containers with mandatory use of closed app stores, like on iOS. But there are can be a middle way, as various open app stores for #Android show. That's not like Docker though and I wouldn't want to switch to a system that requires those containers any time soon.

The latests release of Fedora Workstation adds enhanced video performance, offline speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) improvements. It also includes screen time tracking and break reminders, useful for ADHD sufferers and to reduce burnout.

Fedora Magazine · What's New in Fedora Workstation 42 - Fedora MagazineCheck out some of the notable new features in Fedora Linux 42 Workstation. It's the answer to life, the universe and everything!

Before starting some project bid evaluations (actually more interesting than it sounds!), Im basking in modest glory of my dev efforts to develop the fantastic Tiny FIle Manager. I added a drop down to the file meta info, tidied up the actions menu. I implemented a locally hosted ViewerJs that pulls filepath dynamically and extended iframe height using window.inner height js, so responsive.

Baby tech hacky but groovy and useful 😎
