Michael<p>With all the excitement around the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/oblivionremaster" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>oblivionremaster</span></a>, I'm thinking of loading up the GOTY edition from 2009 and playing through that one on my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/steamdeck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>steamdeck</span></a> instead of shelling out $50 for a new license. I already own the former and I think it will run much better on the deck, despite the remaster getting a verified tag. All Europeans 🇪🇺<p>"There is virtually no difference between digital sovereignty and true sovereignty"</p><p>In a op-ed published in Le Monde 🇫🇷 (French daily newspaper) this morning, Andy Yen, CEO of Swiss technology company Proton 🇨🇭 argues that Europe's reliance on foreign technology is undermining its sovereignty and economic independence.</p><p>He writes:</p><p>"Reducing our dependence on American and Chinese technologies is the first step towards regaining our sovereignty. If we require our schools and universities to stop buying American technologies, we will stop tying our children's future to these ecosystems. By stimulating demand for European technologies, we are promoting the creation of well-paid jobs here in Europe. These would be European companies that would pay their taxes in Europe, support our social protection systems, and fill public deficits.
