Yesterday's specimen, in the same position, but changing the objective lens to 10X, which supposedly yields a total of 400X magnification. I just hope these calculations are correct, but this is how I was told about how to calculate it
The image here is focus-stacked using about 37 images, but it was still a hard issue to include everything in the image in sharp focus. Yet, I used lot of sharpening here (and cleaning) to get it to so-so level.

I spent a happy few hours taking macro shots of a bouquet. These are all focus-stacked by hand as I am too mcuh of a cheapskate to get a modern Olympus macro which would let the camera do it for me. This week's snaps were all taken with a #fourthirds lens - either the Olympus 50mm f2 or a Sigma 105mm f2.8.
