@hittitezombie @drnoble The reason #Fascism has grown in the UK is that two decades of #Conservative government have -- fairly deliberately -- created the conditions (austerity, reduced social mobility, othering of minorities) for it to grow. Not to mention #Brexit.
If we'd had twenty years of genuinely progressive government, we wouldn't have fascism. We'd have, instead, stronger social institutions (such as #TradesUnions) which would help fight it.
