@Edent There are guys too who hijack threads and go on forever about hydrogen being better than every other sort of heating AND cooling than electric in all applications.
They say battery vehicles are dangerous and only hydrogen based ones are safe etc.
Hydrogen has its place in decarbonisation but you need to pick the correct use cases and not try to push it everywhere.
There is one person I've encountered here on Mastodon who is either a monomaniac or a paid troll.

Let's face it: There are only a few places where batteries make sense, and that isn't in most of transportation. But rather than accept this, guys like you just turn into climate change deniers and demand all progress must stop.

Your obsession with a single pathway is destructive to progress in decarbonisation. Sort out the 100m tons/year of industrial hydrogen production first then we can look and see where it makes sense elsewhere.

@X31Andy @Edent Your the one denying green technology. It is a sign that you are either hopelessly stuck in the past, or in fact are a denier.
Virtually all of your arguments are straw man, misrepresentations, or outright lies. No one is as pathologically in favor of something as you think they are. But you are in fact, pathological in favor of batteries for nearly everything.
Like I said, this is climate change denial. You should question your own sanity before accuse others.

Go away. play with your hydrogen and leave the rest of us alone to actually work on decarbonisation projects using whatever technologies are the most appropriate.
On the other hand you could actually do something positive like design and deploy systems instead of harassing those who have done such things.
@X31Andy @Edent Which is just another strawman. The problem is that you are opposing green technology. You literally don’t want wind and solar to be combined with water for making green fuels. That is why you, perhaps without realizing it, are a denier.
It’s sad that you can’t even agree to support all green energy simply because of some personal agenda. The problem is that you are projecting. You’re the one harassing others until they abandon green energy. Not the other way around.
