Anyone have any ideas or advice for me? I'm looking to replace the US based platform as my main web design tool. I still love it, it's incredible. But I'm concerned at the country's antics and how at their Dear Leader's whim service to Europe could be cut off in a single day.
I love when I can see what is going on begins the ui (ie the code changes). I can code, just a visual ui is faster to work with.
Thoughts on other suggestions?

@ronanmcd webflow is amazing (ui and concept)
A free and open source alternative is @silex
Not as polished and you'll probably need to ask questions for advanced use cases, but we use it tp create professional websites - and I'm the main contributor

@lexoyo @silex oh, cool, I'll take a look at that too. I've tried a few now, and the code they each put out varies. So, no easy pick without testing

@lexoyo @silex hi Alex, I have signed up for testing Silex, and looking forward to learning new skills. Some of it looks daunting, but that's a nice challenge! I will come back to you with questions if that's ok, mainly about how you use it in your own business, as the eco aspect (finding hosts, lining all those tech pieces together etc) really interest me. Like you, I would like my business to offer a better alternative than the normal which uses too many resources

@lexoyo @silex thank you! I'll try the software, see how i get on. But that could be great. I am doing a sustainability postgrad, and this forms part of the project research, so I have a deadline which helps me focus. I plan to test the system this week and will definitely have questions for you after that!
