And don't worry about the delay; you replied in under 24 hours, which is quicker than I often reply to people, and there was no obligation to reply at all, if you didn't want to.</p><p>I'm glad you enjoyed listening to the recordings!</p><p>The URL text next to the player for each audio recording is visible, too, so it's not just screen reader users who might find it distracting, but I'm not sure whether that's a bug; it's potentially something that might have been chosen deliberately. Funnily enough, though, the URL text is shown <em>under</em> each corresponding player, not <em>before</em> it, as you were reporting, if I understood you correctly.</p><p>For what it's worth, I tried using TalkBack on Android both on the web version and in Snikket, using a proper XMPP account, and while I won't say it was easy (though I don't have much experience with TalkBack), the audio was playable both ways, and Snikket doesn't have the distracting URL text, so if you're wanting to listen to the recordings long-term, you might find a real XMPP account to be a preferable way to do it (though I don't have an iDevice, so I can't test the iOS version of Snikket, which is based on a different app from the Android version). KrisSo what are we trying to do here on <a href="http://outmo.de" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">outmo.de</a> ? <br>Well, for once it is just setting up an <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/akkoma" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#akkoma</a> instance that we would like to use ourselves, thus the goal isn't to grow this server to a big size.<br>Another primary goal is to develop and show-case an instance that is tightly integrated with <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/xmpp" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#xmpp</a> chat as we think private chat is a natural complement to a micro-blogging website.<br>To this extend, we are going to look into integrating either <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/conversejs" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#conversejs</a> or <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/jsxc" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#jsxc</a> into a akkoma-fe soft-fork for easy use. Guest access via a <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/xmpp" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#xmpp</a>-web client is also being considered.<br>We would also like to offer a <a class="hashtag" href="https://outmo.de/tag/slidge" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#slidge</a> XMPP gateway to people contributing to the operation of this website and might also provide some other complementary cloud services to donators.<br>So lets join forces to outmode the old centralized web :nkoHype:
