While I agree clearcut / restock can be brutal &amp; we are heavily over-reliant on the system, it seems 'bold' to outlaw it entirely, regardless of scale. Surely local production and 'better' rather than 'less' silviculture would provide <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/timber" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>timber</span></a> for less <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/carbon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>carbon</span></a> intensive <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/building" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>building</span></a> solutions</p>
