MarkRight now, the Sandhill Cranes are moving back to fields adjacent to the Platte River. At and just after sunset, they'll fly from those fields into the Platte to overnight. I watched them last Monday & Tuesday evening, and it was mighty impressive. We're past peak, but you can still see and hear flocks fly in the distance. It should get better around 8pm CDT. I'll post some of my own vids from last week soon.
