Analysis: "Musk has a simple diagnosis of what’s ailing America: It’s being destroyed by empathy."

"Musk has argued that empathy is a suicidal trait that is a driving force behind civilizational extinction".

The west should get tough: "bar its doors to immigrants of a certain type & endure temporary hardship so... the woke mind virus will die.”

Psychopathy is marked by lack of empathy &, hence, conscience.

Mother JonesElon Musk can’t take the heatThe numbers say anti-Tesla protests are working. So do Musk's increasingly unhinged actions.

@DrALJONES interestingly, overcoming the weakness that is empathy and acting coldly and cruelly in order to achieve the required purification of the race was very central to the Nazi propaganda (source: Johann chapoutot's "la loi du sang")

🙏

I'm guessing you have the book. And this English version preview as well:

google.com.au/books/edition/_/

I'm wondering if you happen to have some page numbers i could look up in the English preview (search function isn't working)

@DrALJONES I'm currently reading the book... in French! So not sure how helpful page numbers will be.

This notion of suppressing empathy surfaces in many places of the book. In the first part, it is explained how this empathy is a remnant of, to say it in my words, the brainwashing of foreign races through judaism and christianity - a kind of "counter-brainwashing" is needed, since a true German is aligned with the laws of nature and natural selection.

@DrALJONES I'm pretty sure there's a very explicit quote somewhere about suppressing this feeling of pity or empathy, even if it's disturbing. This disturbing feeling being only the imprint of centuries of indoctrination by the foreign forces.

In chapter 3 it explains why it's ok to put to death the weak people, and it also comes back in chapter 4 (and later) about showing no mercy towards the enemy.

Pierric

@DrALJONES In fact in chapter 6 there's a quote from Hitler (retranslated by me): "one must close their heart to any form of pity. We must proceed with brutality. [...] Go ahead in the toughest possible way." (p.306 in the soft-cover French edition)

I don't know if that helps! The book is well structured in terms of parts and chapters, but many concepts keep popping back and forth in a somewhat confused way, but that serves the objective of progressively depicting the ideology as a whole.

@DrALJONES I did find again just this bit on page 200 in the French edition (towards the beg. of chapter 4):
"Culture denatured Man, notably the culture of ethics, the moral of pity, which has induced a counter-selective preference towards the weak."

And p.198: "it's thus not compassion, but courage and harshness that save life, because war is the eternal character of life"

Sorry for the bad translations, it's not the kind of English I'm used to speaking!

@PierricD

Much appreciated, Pierric. You're very kind.

Not my kind of English either...
