Over-consumption of cheap products designed for the dump are a far greater threat to our environment than CO2.

@gerrymcgovern @fifilamoura Yup, overconsumption is the problem precisely because we’ve made progress on reducing emissions in other areas. I recently read that if demand for cheap plastic trinkets wasn’t booming, global demand for oil would have already begun to fall in absolute terms.
@gerrymcgovern Overproduction of all kinds of useless rubbish is the problem. Consumption is only possible because of production. If you don't want people to consume that shit, stop its production.
