@gerrymcgovern I think the article correctly states the costs and problems of AI. However the author does not question the limitations of AI, including "creative solutions" for the climate that AI might find, which is speculative, if not propagandistic.
The actions described to limit costs rely heavily in individual choices, not collective or regulatory action which might be more effective in my view.
