thought I was almost done with coral island at 120h in year three. Then I realized I could still do another cave in the savannah, then do the s town quest, and the mural quest and it is so much more content than I though. :CatMuchLove: #CoralIsland

Riesco a svolgere solo un'attività lavorativa al giorno e per quanto apprezzi l'idea di aver dato ai negozi orari umani (chiudono alle 17-18), sono poco usabili. Tra l'altro sono distanti e con quel passo non riesco ad arrivare fisicamente in tempo

Bad news for us console #CoralIsland players; apparently Humble Games managed the pushes of Coral Island updates to console. Stairway Games has no ability to access console backends, and they are trying to work out a solution through lawyers! (the alt text has some stuff deleted due to the image text having too many words, the main point is there).

Humble Games is apparently been outsourced to a third party after being gutted, presumably due to the third party being cheap labor. 😬

To console players (Switch backers especially), We'd like to say something to you today given that Humbles Games recent re- structuring leaves consoles in a place of uncertainty. However, we see this an opportunity to share what we can. To start, we share in your frustrations regarding the lack of a Nintendo Switch port of Coral Island. Over the years, there's a lot we've wanted to say in the spirit of transparency, about many different things, but continue to be unable to do so because of the publishing agreement and NDA we have in place. The impact of Humble Games' restructuring on Coral Island remains uncertain for all things related to consoles, whether porting or pushing hotfixes, as they are responsible for these platforms. We've been in communication with our lawyer since we found out about the restructuring on social media to figure out how to navigate this new situation. For example, we have an upcoming hotfix for the 1.1 update nearing release for Steam. We have no idea how to get this update out to other platform players, as we don't have the backend permission on console platforms to push updates out. We only have access to the Steam backend. We'll keep you posted on developments once we have more information. We know it fucking sucks, but we hope you understand. Thanks.

i started playing Coral Island and it’s amazing because gameplay is just like Stardew Valley but 3D, and the graphics are gorgeous, even the 2D illustrations of the NPCs during conversation, there are a lot more NPCs to interact with vs SV (and a variety of different PoCs too), an animal shelter you can adopt a pet from, detailed houses and buildings you can visit and explore

and it’s beautiful and magical and walkable

and it makes me low-key mad because i want to live there IRL???

I'm so excited for the big update that Stairway Games have dropped for upcoming feature updates to Coral Island (I've been waiting patiently for news so I can continue playing).

They've not given hard dates as of yet, however, based on the developer diary entries a lot of the changes have been worked on since 1.0.
