It’s (finally!) Monarch caterpillar season! After a very cold, damp spring, and cool summer we have babies! Currently there are 9 monarch caterpillars in our backyard at varying stages from 2nd to 3rd, and maybe 4th instar, so they all have more eating and growing to do before they do their chrysalis thing.
Photos are of 7 out of the 9 critters.
