TTBOMK, #OX has more implementations than #ATM. At least #Gajim, #Libervia, #Profanity, and #xmppc do support , while (AFAIK) only #Kaidan implements
.
I'm not an Android user, but if I were, I'ld just take the first option, #Conversations by @daniel.
It does not have the newer #OMEMO version, true, but as most users are either on Conversations or #Dino or #Gajim, you would have to fallback to the older version anyway.
Also, TTBOMK, the idea of new OMEMO in Conversations late 2025 or early 2026 does exist, but the project needs funding.
You don't specify your use case, so I can only assume, you want a kind of team chat?
At my company, we use #Prosody by @prosodyim since ≈ 2014 and are still happy.
We use three clients: #Dino by @dino, #Gajim by @gajim, and (so far as an experiment) #Prose by @prose.
If you want it centralized (why?), just don't federate.
We use Prosody, Dino, and Gajim from #Debian (stable and stable-backports).
With #Dino_im v0.5 arriving in Debian stable (backports) it's now my primary #XMPP client. I will use #Gajim only for special tasks like room maintenance or service discovery.
Dino is (from user perspective) pretty simple, some features are still missing, but as a basic client for daily text/image communication it's really sufficient.

#Gajim 2.1.1 has been released (#Jabber / #XMPP / #XMPPClient / #JabberClient / #Python / #nbxmpp / #pythonnbxmpp / #OMEMO / #SCRAM / #SCRAMSHA / #SCRAMSHA1 / #SCRAMSHA256 / #SCRAMSHA512) https://gajim.org/
Unpopular opinion: There is not the One #Messenger To Rule Them All. It depends on individual #chat requirements.
Extremely easy to onboard and use, but only for Android and iOS: #Quicksy or #Prav.
For Joan & John Average: #Conversations, #Dino, or #Monal.
For team chat: #Gajim or #Prose.
For people with higher security necessities: #Conversations or #Dino with self-hosted server and/or use over #TOR and/or multiple (burner) accounts.
Tbc. Of course, there are many other valid options.

@linuxer @stormii @karl_ist_super ja, sowas wie @monocles / #monoclesChat, @gajim / #gajim & @delta / #deltaChat...
Natürlich kannste #Signal nutzen, nur dann musste halt auch drauf klarkommen dass so zentralisierter shice durch eine christofaschistische Regierung (#USA) irgendwann eingestampft wird.
#Monocles verlangt hingegen garkeine Daten und erlaubt anonymes Bezahlen per #Monero & #CashByMail !
@Wyatt_H_Knott precisely that
There are evidently superior alternatives like the #Fediverse & #XMPP+#OMEMO like @gajim / #gajim and @monocles / #monoclesChat.
This is an expecially good time to be around #XMPP
#profanity and #poezio were recently updated, while #gajim (and soon #converse.js) got a new major release. These are all #XMPP clients, if you're not familiar with those names: first 2 are console-based, while gajim is a desktop client and converse.js is a web client.
Even #Movim (web client) will have another big release soon, supporting #audio #video #calls and #screensharing.. Want to give it a go?
