A quick bird boop, in honour of the weather being such that I have been able to rediscover the garden and sit for far too long waiting for the birds to pose for me.

Ginger Dino is appalled at the indignity of being held in the hand of a human. APPALLED!
Today's cloud creature has an important public service announcement for people taking advantage of the sunny weekend to visit rural Scotland.
I realise we're sleepy & quiet & laid back compared to life in the big city but it is very important that you understand WE STILL HAVE CARS.
Just back in from one short walk & saw two near misses as people walked on the road instead of the extremely roomy path.
*sobs*
Found some teeny tiny flowers in the lawn. I like these ones, because it looks like they've just licked something unpleasant, and are trying to wipe the taste away with their fluffy hands.
Yes it does. Shush now.
IT'S FRIDAAAAAAAAY!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!
(yes, very obviously I am ignoring everything for the moment, can heartily recommend it if you can)
The sun is shining so I'm declaring the weekend open early to go and do some gardening. As ever, have a good weekend if you possibly can.
Have had some stuff going on over the last day or two that all turned out Better Than Expected. Have a happy cactus to celebrate.
Ooh, nothing like taking a bit of time off to be a tourist with visitors, then being swamped by STUFF. Gonna take a few more days for me to get back on top of everything. Have a silly cloud pupper while I sort through it all.
That feeling when your friends are using your branch for a bonus butt slap, and you're not sure if you should be watching, but you can't look away.
We've all been there.
It's Friday! Woohoo!
Hope everyone is OK. I've been offline & and hiding from news the last few days, but didn't want to miss a Friday Dance (not far from 100 weeks in a row now ), so here's another in collaboration with the skeletons from 1929.
Back to some semblance of normality next week, but in the meantime have a good weekend, if you possibly can
Just popping in with a quick "hello", as I have visitors this week so am mainly offline being hostess and tour guide. Had a quick wander at the Ben Lawers Nature Reserve yesterday, home to the Best Rocky Stream and friendliest clouds.
Taking a moment to appreciate those folk working tirelessly to bring spring colour into our lives.
It's Friday! Woohoo!
Animating on the shoulders of giants this week, as we're dancing on top of a clip from a fantastic animation from 100 years ago. Have been meaning to have a play with it since it popped up on the @internetarchive feed.
Cannot express in words how much fun this was to play with, hoping to have expressed it through the medium of dance instead.
Anyway, as ever, have a good weekend if you possible can
Sometimes if a bird is worth a boop (and let's face it, pretty much all birds are worth a boop) then it's also worth the effort in reaching them, however high up they have decided to perch.
- So, you finally stopped messing about with clouds?
- What? Oh, aye.
- Really?
- Nah.
There is something a bit weird going on. Been sorting through my photos from the last week & LOADS of clouds are forming with open mouths. This is not normal. You'd get one every now and then but honestly, they're EVERYWHERE.
I, of course, welcome our new Chompy Cloud Overlords but still... it's a bit odd. There is, I suppose, a slight chance that I have just spent too long looking at clouds.
It's a mystery
You know how the wee window you type in asks "What's on your mind?" before you've written anything?
Sometimes, when I've posted the picture and it's just sitting there with that question above, I just think "well, not very much, obviously".
Anyhow, apropos of nothing in particular, have another cloud.
