So it's Ruined Priory Friday and I don't have any ruined priory... So I thought, what can I have that is made of stones, ruined and not a castle ? Indeed, fuuru ! I have fuuru ! It's #FuuruFriday and I didn't even know !
A fuuru or hwaafuuru, uwafuuru (...) is a latrine that is coupled with a pig pen. Humans use the latrines on the front, the feces fall in the pig pen, where they are... recycled by the pigs (the pigs' feces are collected and spread in the fields)

Photograph of three stones structures (enclosures) next to each other, in depression in the ground, two of them partly covered by a stone roof (the middle one's roof has fallen). The stone is whitish Ryukyu limestone, the stones are carefully cut stones. On front of the three enclosures lines with stones, there is an alleyway including three stones with a hole in them so that the ground level of the alleyway communicates with the inside of the three depressions. Those are latrines. Pigs were bred into the three enclosures. In the background there is intense green vegetation since the archaeological survey area didn't extend further and on the foreground, scattered limestone stones suggest the presence of other vestiges (truct me, there were some. lots)
Close up, at an other angle, of one of the enclosures. You can see very large cut stones used for the walls and the curved stone for the roof. There is also inside the onclosure the remains of a large bowl in Okinawan coarse earthenware (arayachi) that is stuck to the ground with mortar, to give water to the pig. The background is covered with intense vegetation. The wall on the foreground is quite damaged, probably due to the roots of several trees, the remains of which can be seen as well.
