At #COP28, we witnessed 127+ countries support the phase out of ALL fossil fuels. At #COP27, they were only 80. A year earlier @ #COP26, debates were only on coal and fossil subsidies phase out/down.

Les Occidentaux s'en foutent tant que le "dictateur préféré" de Donald Trump continue d'assurer la sécurité des frontières méditerranéennes de l'Europe (ces fameuses "zones tampons") en persécutant ses opposants islamistes. (Et on ferme les yeux sur le fait qu'il persécute tous les opposants, les torturent, les assassinent, les emprisonnent arbitrairement) Tant que les putains de touristes de mes deux ont le loisir de faire leur croisière sur le Nil en toute sécurité.

Et qui se souvient que la dernière COP (27) s'est tenue à Sharm El-Sheik l'année dernière ?
Franchement, on dirait que c'est un concours : l’Égypte, puis les Émirats-Arabes Unis, et demain l'Azerbaïdjan ? C'est quoi le projet ? La reconnaissance sur la scène internationale des régimes qui singent et parodient la démocratie ? On sait bien qu'ils s'en carrent le mou du climat, mais aller tailler des pipes diplomatiques à tous ces psychopathes ? (bon, ça n'a rien de nouveau c'est vrai, mais dans le monde néolibéral, on fait même plus semblant)

The figure calculated by the Kick Big Polluters Out (KBPO) coalition is a record number that raises further questions about the fossil fuel industry’s influence over this year’s #UN summit, which is being run by the president of the United Arab Emirates’ national oil company.

The scale of oil and gas influence in Dubai is unprecedented, with almost four times as many industry-affiliated lobbyists than the number registered for #Cop27 in Sharm el-Sheikh – which itself was a record year.

#Lobbyists vying to push the interests of oil and gas companies such as #Shell, #Total and #ExxonMobil outnumber every country delegation apart from #Brazil (3,081), which is expected to run Cop30 in 2025, and the host country, which registered 4,409 attenders.

Fossil fuel lobbyists also outnumber official #Indigenous representatives (316) by seven to one – another sign, say campaigners, that oil and gas industry profits are being prioritised over a sustainable planet and frontline communities."

positive Töne im Artikel:

Tatsächlich hat die #UN 2022 in #Montreal auf der #COP15 sehr wichtige Schritte Richtung Biodiversität gelegt! Wichtig auch der Begriff #regenerativeAgriculture , der bereits bei #cop27 prominent war und auch bei der #cop28 auf der Agenda steht.

Hier soll nicht nur das Problem mit Pestiziden, Biodiversität und Überdüngung (Nitrate,Stickstoff) angegangen werden, sondern auch den Humusaufbau und die #CO2 Speicherung im Boden. Damit Landwirtschaft klimaverträglicher und nachhaltiger sein soll, also auch nachfolgende Generationen fruchtbare Böden voller Mikroorganismen vorfinden.

Das war doch ☀️klar, dass das nur eine Pseudo-Vereinbarung ist um Geldflüsse und Maßnahmen noch jahrelang hinauszuzögern - so wie eben die #Klimapolitik de facto überall läuft. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry to say, aber wir werden das nicht schaffen. Die #Klimakatastrophe kommt, unweigerlich.
