#Norwegian *dude* makes #consent -app. Mentions "false accusations" as a motivation.

Of course there's an app for this now. And of course it's made by a guy.

Not saying it's a bad idea, but I'd really like to see the result of a team of women approaching this. Fairly sure having "false accusations" on the list of problems one wants to solve doesn't improve the design of the app. :P

The #norwegian public transport organisation #vy closed a #s3 #bucket with more than 50k reports about how their bus drivers perform in therms of efficiency, comfort and so on. The system is called "Eco Safe".

IDK. I think people would care about #NPR and #PBS if they weren't so pretentious. I watch/read alot of nrk.no for language immersion in #norwegian, and there are some FUN shows on there, radio, podcasts, and that's just what's free, but it's state funded. I have this morning enjoyed a coffee and completed the translations of Element X to Norwegian bokmål. I hope the last missing translations will be included in a testflight build of Element X soon.

Yesterday I also completed translations of new strings for Element Calls.

I hope you will use and enjoy them! And, please give me feedback on the translations if you find spelling errors or have a suggestion or two for improvements.

The insurance certificates were issued based on a license allegedly obtained in 2016 from the #Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority, so the authorities thought the company was legitimate. However, in reality, the license was fake, & #Ro_Marine did not even exist in 2016.

On March 21, 4 people linked to #Ro_Marine - #Mochalin, a #Bulgarian national, the sole employee, and 2 #Norwegian associates - were charged and are under investigation for document forgery & unlicensed insurance brokerage

A #Russian national defrauded 12 #NATO countries through a fake insurance company to cover up #Russia's shadow fleet, according to an investigation by #Danish_Danwatch and #Norwegian_NRK media.

#St_Petersburg resident #Andrey_Mochalin, 41, who has worked in the insurance industry in #Norway for many years, registered a fake #Norwegian company, #Ro_Marine, which issued 255 vessels with forged certificates, of which at least 76 are attributed to the #Russian shadow fleet.

I'm sorry, but I _kinda_ agree with this. As I learn more and more about #norwegian culture, and I watched a language video on this, it is is illegal to call the police fowl names, and you'll pay a hefty fine for it. Now, I say "fuck" like the grumpy half-baked Norwegian lighthouse keeper that I am, and so do Northern Norwegians, but it's not needed.
